This knowledge that you keep reciting, tell me, where does it come from?

When the soul leaves this body, where does this knowledge go?

Reading scriptures throughout life, how much knowledge did you gain?

Only you Ego grew from reading, and ignorance increased even more.

If only you hadn’t read those scriptures, and had just learned love,

Had you understood this one thing, you'd have received miracles from above.

Devotion is above Knowledge, above devotion is chanting his name,

So,Chant that name,to win life’s difficult game.

O pure one, my heart's beloved, who else is there but you?
